About Kriti
I am a dedicated Physics graduate with over three years of experience in teaching and mentoring students in higher education. My academic journey has been deeply rooted in a passion for understanding the fundamental principles of the universe, which I channel into my teaching. Specializing in Thermodynamics and Nuclear Physics, I have honed my skills in breaking down complex concepts into digestible lessons that foster both comprehension and curiosity.

In this lesson, we delve into two critical areas of physics: Thermodynamics and Nuclear Physics. Thermodynamics focuses on the principles governing energy transfer and the laws that describe the behavior of heat and work in physical systems. We'll explore key concepts such as the laws of thermodynamics, heat engines, entropy, and the thermodynamic properties of various substances. Understanding these principles is essential for grasping how energy systems operate, from everyday household appliances to complex industrial processes.
Nuclear Physics, on the other hand, examines the components and behavior of atomic nuclei. This includes studying nuclear reactions, radioactive decay, and the properties of nuclear matter. We'll cover topics such as nuclear fission and fusion, radioactive isotopes, and the applications of nuclear physics in medicine, energy production, and scientific research. This segment of the lesson aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how nuclear processes are harnessed and controlled, as well as their implications for technology and society.
The lesson is designed to be interactive and student-centered, employing a blend of theoretical discussions, practical demonstrations, and problem-solving sessions. For Thermodynamics, we will use visual aids like diagrams and simulations to illustrate complex concepts, ensuring students can visualize heat flow and energy transformations. Hands-on activities, such as experiments with heat engines and calorimetry, will reinforce theoretical knowledge through practical application.
