About Jack
A knowledgeable teacher who is well-versed in both their specialised subject and the science of education can make a huge positive difference to a student's prospects; I teach because I savor the chance to spread knowledge and enthusiasm for STEM subjects.
My time spent studying education alongside teaching secondary have allowed me to gleam insight into the most effective methods for learning; this alongside with my expertise in the Physics and Maths fields make me confident in my ability to help students find success in their chosen subjects.

In educational theory and research, practice testing and distributed practice have consistently shown to be the most effective for memorization and recall of information. Put simply; short, focused and adequately spaced out sessions are the best way to learn.
Sessions can be either 1 or 2 hours long, focusing on learning key concepts through example and dialogue using techniques I picked up during my time as a secondary Science teacher.
Lessons are targeted towards KS3-KS5 Physics, Maths and Chemistry.
