About Daniel
I prefer to build one-on-one relations with the students to be able to take the student from the initial state of the student to the desired final state. From my memory, it took me 3 years to get good at physics (albeit at a physicist level). Thus, I do not see how in a single week a student can master physics. The student must work hard and long. Thus, I prefer students that will be with me for multiple months.

For physics, I emphasize the derivation of the results prior to the calculations and go over all of the necessary and sufficient assumptions made and I quickly inform the student if the intended lesson has not been learned correctly. For math, the approach depends on the specifics of the student. However, it is generally true that the more practice the more that the students learn.
