About Demetri
I’m a former Lead Teacher of Physics and a Mechanical Engineering graduate, now working full‑time as a specialist GCSE and A‑Level tutor. I bring a combination of deep subject knowledge, exam‑board precision (AQA, Edexcel and OCR A), and clear, structured explanations that help students make rapid progress.

My lessons are designed to move students away from "spoon-feeding" and toward independent mastery. We don’t just read through notes; we tackle the subject in three clear stages:
1. Diagnostic Check: We identify the specific misconceptions and knowledge gaps that are stalling your progress.
2. Concept Rebuild: I provide clear, concise explanations to fill those gaps, focusing on the "why" behind the physics.
3. Exam Application: We work through curated past-paper questions to sharpen your exam technique, ensuring you know exactly how to secure every mark on the page.
I provide 1-to-1 tutoring in GCSE Physics and Chemistry, as well as specialist A-Level Physics support. My background in an inclusive college means I’m experienced at rebuilding understanding for students who’ve struggled in the classroom, without lowering expectations.
