About Robin
I am a BSc student in Physics and Computer Science at the University of Canterbury with a strong academic background in mathematics and physics. I achieved 98% in Physics and 95% in Mathematics in CBSE Class 12 (Non-Medical), a rigorous, exam-focused curriculum with advanced calculus and mechanics. I have been explaining complex concepts to peers since high school, running study sessions and one-to-one support that improved exam performance and confidence. I focus on clarity, structured problem-solving, and adapting explanations to each student’s learning style, both in-person and online.

For in-person lessons, I begin by identifying the student’s current level, weak areas, and assessment goals. I then explain core concepts clearly using structured, step-by-step reasoning, ensuring the student understands the “why” behind each method. We work through progressively challenging problems together, focusing on exam technique, accuracy, and time management. I provide concise handwritten notes and targeted practice questions, and we finish each session with a short recap and clear goals for the next lesson.
For online lessons, I follow the same structured approach using a digital whiteboard to keep explanations organised and easy to follow. I encourage active participation by solving problems interactively rather than lecturing. I use screen sharing for graphs, simulations, and worked examples where helpful. After each session, I provide a clear summary of key steps and assign focused practice, tracking progress through regular feedback and short assessments.
