About Joseph
Academic qualifications: MSc (Distinction) in Engineering - Brunel University London UK BSc Physical Science (Hons) - Open University Milton Keynes UK Industrial Electronics - Fellenberg Training Centre Malta I come from an engineering background. I have had a varied work life starting in electronics repairs after graduating in Industrial Electronics in Malta. I then moved to the oil industry in Aberdeen UK and abroad where apart from electronics work, I became a hydraulics specialist. During most of my engineering career I had the opportunity to tutor and advise many apprentices and graduates in my field. In most cases this involved going back to basic physics and maths when explaining complex engineering systems. Apart from work, physics and maths have always been my preferred subjects and today I continue to study and learn as much as possible in my spare time.

I believe that the best way to pass physics and maths exams is by practice. My approach is to talk to the student and find out what it is that they are struggling with. My lessons will then be tailor-made for the particular student using the same textbook/s (when possible) they are using at school. If a student is preparing for exams, working through as many past papers as possible is a must. The student is encouraged to work through as many past papers as possible, which not only serve as revision but also gives the individual the confidence needed for sitting the actual exam paper. Difficult questions will then be discussed and we will work through them together.
