About Andrew
I am an entrepreneur, scientist, and athlete. Each attribute informs the others. I was an NCAA All-American at Kenyon College and an All-American Master's swimmer and world record holder, have started multiple companies, worked at really cool places like Los Alamos National Lab and NASA JPL and taught and mentored college students when I was a visiting professor at Pomona College in Los Angeles. I loved teaching at Pomona and was honored to have interacted with such motivated students most of whom have gone on to earn advanced degrees.

I have a passion for teaching students from the middle school to college level. I use a very interactive approach in which we first discuss why we're going to learn the subject matter, why it is important, and the ultimate purpose of the lesson. The we would spend some time talking about the theoretical aspects of the subject and then get to the mechanics of it by working some problems in real time.
