About David
I have been teaching physical education for the past ten years. I have my BS in Physical Education and an MS in Special Education. I have experience teaching and coaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. For the past 8 years, I have been teaching elementary school physical education and adaptive physical education. I implement and modify the physical education curriculum to best fit the needs of my students.
In my free time, I train for triathlons. I have completed four West Point Triathlons and ran the New York City Marathon and Chicago Marathon. I practice what I preach and live a very active lifestyle with my family. My passion is to teach families about the importance of health and physical activity for our youth. With social media and video games becoming more and more addicting I want to help families reconnect with their kids, have fun, and become physically fit!

My classes are for students and their parents to participate in! I work with students 5-18 years old. I make fitness fun and engaging. I lead fun fitness activities or sport-specific lessons. I will have you leave the lesson with additional fitness games/activities to work on at home.
My goal as your teacher is to have you leave the lesson sweating and motivated to continue to increase your physical activity level.
Each lesson will be based on the equipment you have. No equipment, no problem. I will use everyday household products and keep the fitness games going!
