About Amelia
My name is Amelia and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Birmingham studying philosophy. I completed my GCSE's in Maths (6), English Literature (6), English Language (7), and Combined Science (8, 8). I completed A levels in History (A), Religious Studies: Philosophy and Ethics (A), and Psychology (B). I have a wide range of experience with working with children, for example I used to be a swimming assistant. This job entailed me assist the swim teacher in teaching children aged 2-11 to swim. This allowed me to gain valuable communication skills. I am aiming to become a teacher in the future, so tutoring religious studies is something that I am extremely passionate about and throughly enjoy doing. I want to ensure that my students feel like they are able to achieve their target grades, or even higher and feel asured. I am able to provide scholarly, expert material to expand student's vocabulary and exercise their interests. I have been through the education system and application to univeristy, and I can help students achieve their goals in the same way.

I hope to tutor students to help them achieve their goals in either RE GCSE or A Level. As someone who achieved a level 9 in my RE GCSE and a grade A in religious studies: philosophy and ethics, I am confident that my knowledge will be of use to others. Depending on what my student wants, I will be able to cover the material needed in the exam, go over exam technique and the different question structures, or help them with their revision. I hope to bring a friendly in environment in my lessons.
