About Sebastian
Hey, I'm Seb. I was born in California but grew up in Italy. When I was 15 I was thrust into the British academic system, finding myself having to do the IGCSE in only one year. I then completed the IB diploma, and received an offer to study Philosophy and Italian Literature at Oxford. I am deeply interested in academia and I want to fuel that interest in you, too.

When tutoring I strive to find an individual approach which suits your individual case. I focus especially on exam techinque and essay writing, helping you to be more expressive and coherent when it matters most. I have taught Italian privately growing up, and have been tutoring English Lang/Lit for the IGCSE for the last 6 months. My speciality is philosophy, which is my degree at Oxford University, but that allows me to be of aid in other subjects which I studied at the IGCSE and IB.
