About Saxon
Everyday I live in what I like to call a 'philosophically minded' way; it seems that I can't help it! So I reckon that I might as well share and shed light on the path of philosophy.
Additionally, I have earned my BA and MA in Philosophy.
My tutoring strengths are in ethics, logic, history of philosophy and non-western (especially Buddhist) philosophy.
My personal philosophical interests are philosophy and history of mathematics, philosophy of science, analytic jurisprudence, ancient Greek philosophy, non-classical logic, post-modernism, political theory, social justice theory, critical phenomenology, artificial intelligence, aesthetics, Buddhist and Vedic philosophy and history, and absurdism.

Each lesson will be customized to fit the direct needs of the student. For example, if you are a college student and taking a course in Symbolic Logic, your lesson would track the coursework of that course. Alternatively, if you are a student or learner who wants tutoring in a particular subject of philosophy, I would create a lesson plan to fit your learning goals.
With the exception of logic, all philosophy requires significant reading, writing and dialogue. Therefore, most tutoring sessions will be combinations of discussions of readings and reflections on written assignments. Logic tutoring sessions will consist mainly of discussion while working through example problems.
