About Aravind
I am a PhD-qualified tutor from the University of Edinburgh with a strong academic background in Mathematics and Science. I bring a clear, structured, and professional approach to every lesson, ensuring students feel supported while being challenged appropriately.
I have experience teaching students across a range of ages and abilities, and I take pride in explaining complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand. Lessons are carefully prepared, well paced, and adapted to each student’s needs and goals.

My teaching approach is student-centred and structured, with a strong focus on understanding rather than memorisation. I begin by identifying what the student already knows and where they feel unsure, then tailor the lesson to their level and goals.
I explain concepts step by step, using simple examples first and gradually increasing difficulty. I regularly check understanding through questions and short practice tasks, and I encourage students to explain ideas in their own words to build confidence and clarity.

I hold a PhD from the University of Edinburgh with a strong background in Maths and Science. I have experience teaching and supporting students at school and university level, and I’m comfortable adapting lessons for different abilities and learning styles.
