About Thomas
I am a PhD student at King’s College London, specialising in political communication, with a strong passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential. Having taught undergraduates, marked exams and essays, and guided students through the complexities of academic writing, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate different marking schemes and expectations. My goal is to make that process easier by providing clear, structured support tailored to each student’s needs. My Approach: I take a systematic, custom-made approach to tutoring, combining both content mastery and essay technique. Teaching Methodology: I draw on my extensive experience in teaching, marking exams and essays, and tutoring students on academic writing. I work with you on both subject-specific content and the skills needed to structure and write high-quality essays. I aim to boost both your confidence and your grades, using a combination of clear explanations, practice, and tailored feedback. Lesson Length: Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, giving us ample time to go over key concepts, practice essay writing, and discuss any areas you find challenging.
