I have a background in journalism and I am currently a researcher at the University of Limerick. I also have tutoring experience with first, second and third year university student. I like writing both professionally and academically and I believe that these skills will be even more useful when it’s transferred.

I take on a very practical teaching approach. I believe that student need to be talked into writing. Simplifying and explaining the writing process is something I have found beneficial and will continue to pass on to students. The critical thinking involved with writing is also something I find vital to teach.
