About Patrick
I am a student of English literature at the PhD level. What does this have to do with philosophy or history? Well... a lot! As scholars we use both of these things all the time, and I want to share that with you. I am most interested in literature and history from Canada (where I'm from), but my interest in philosophy and theory is broader in scope.

Depending on the student's goals or interests, I typically assign texts that are discussed in class. Generally, one half of the class is context/explanation, the other half of conversation. As someone who is entrenched in these topics and who has experience in teaching in a formal setting, I have multiple angles to approach various topics such as philosophy and history. Considering the subject matter, the subjects of philosophy & theory would be for undergraduates or higher.
