About Pratik

I am a PhD student at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, doing my research in the field of Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Computing and have multiple years of experience in tutoring undergraduate students at UNSW. I have a passion for teaching and my teaching philosophy includes starting from the basics and clearing the concepts which creates a strong foundation, and linking the concepts with real-world examples!

About the lesson

My lessons include an in-depth understanding of the fundamental concepts of the subject, followed by practical examples from real life so that students can relate the concepts they learn to the real world. This is followed by problem solving classes to make the students familiar with the equations and how to apply them in real problems.

Pratik's trustworthiness is evident from his consistent positive approach to teaching physics as a tutor and a TA with me. He excels as a physics tutor because he combines deep subject knowledge with student-centered teaching styles and methods, making complex topics accessible and meaningful. His ability to breakdown difficult concepts and problems informs about his wide scope of physics understanding and his strength in the subject. I will say that Pratik is a dedicated and talented Physics Tutor who can gurantee success!

I am a lecturer in Physics at the University of New sSouth Wales and have worked with Pratik for many years. Pratik is a very excellent physics teacher! He is of course very knowledgeable in physics, but he's also fantastic at being able to understand precisely where a student is struggling - he possesses a blend of empathy and content mastery that make him perfect for guiding students. I can't recommend Pratik enough!
