About Nalin
I am a Research Scientist in Chemistry and a Part-Time tutor. I have a PhD in Chemistry (USA), MS in Chemistry (USA), MS in Analytical Chemistry (Sri Lanka) and a BS with First Class Honours (Chemistry, Math, Statistics & Computing). I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) in Organic/General/Physical chemistry for 5 years. I moved to Canada in 2013 and started working as a Research Scientist (York University/University of Ottawa/University of Carleton). Since 2013, I have been tutoring/teaching Chemistry and Math for High School and University students. From 1995 to 2008, I taught Chemistry, Math and Physics for Local (Sri Lanka) and International (UK) University entrance exams.

I use PowerPoint to prepare my lessons. I utilize technology to make the online session as interactive as possible. Always use quizzes to test the subject. I will also modify my method of delivery depending on the demand and capacity of the student.
