About Zara
I’m a PhD-qualified scientist with a background in chemistry, drug discovery and pharmaceutical research. I have always been passionate about science and particularly enjoy making complex ideas easier to understand and accessible to others. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have developed extensive experience communicating scientific concepts to people with different levels of knowledge and understanding. I want to use this experience to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding of science and achieve their academic goals.

I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence and developing their problem-solving skills. Lessons can be adapted to focus on specific topics, exam preparation, homework support or areas where a student needs extra help.
