11+ PRIVATE TUITION – ENGLISH • MATHS • VERBAL & NON-VERBAL REASONING
Give your child the confidence, skills and exam technique they need to perform at their best in the 11+ and grammar school entrance examinations.
I have an MBA, PhD and offer friendly, focused and highly structured 11+ tuition for Years 4, 5 and 6, tailored to each child’s individual strengths and weaknesses.
Tuition covers:
• English comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPaG)
• Maths, including arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios and problem solving
• Verbal Reasoning – vocabulary, codes, sequences and word relationships
• Non-Verbal Reasoning – matrices, rotations, reflections, nets, folding and spatial reasoning
• Exam technique, timing, confidence and mock-test preparation
Lessons are designed to identify exactly where marks are being lost and then concentrate practice on those areas, rather than simply giving children endless generic worksheets.
I have extensive international experience in education, teaching and student development, together with a PhD from the University of Nottingham and an MBA from Santa Clara University, California.

I have taught many primary school age pupils around the world including my own child. I use both traditional methods as well as cutting edge online learning tools to identify gaps and teach to the level required to pass in a fun and enjoyable, motivating environment. I have a PhD in biotechnology and have taught age 4 and up - from primary school to degree level students.
