About Joe
I am currently doing a PhD in plasma physics and nuclear fusion with the University of York (based at Culham, Oxfordshire). Before this, I achieved a first-class Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield. I am an aspiring teacher and want to help students from GCSE all the way to Master's degree level. Most importantly, I have a real passion for the subjects and have an in-depth knowledge over a broad range of topics. I believe I can really help you achieve the best grades possible. I have been teaching friends and family maths and science for 5 years (helping my younger siblings and cousins with maths and science from GCSE to university level) and have tutored privately also. I have a good understanding of the best way to teach these subjects and I am always looking to improve my lessons!
