About Si Ming
I chose to teach because I find it meaningful to help students move from confusion to clarity. Many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because concepts are not explained in a way that makes sense to them. My goal is to break down complex ideas into clear, structured steps so that students can understand and apply them confidently.
I focus on building strong fundamentals and developing problem-solving skills, rather than relying on memorizing. I also guide students in improving their study habits and exam approach, so that they can perform more consistently over time.
I aim to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

I focus on helping students understand concepts rather than memorizing formulas, so they can apply what they learn confidently in exams. My teaching approach is tailored to each individual student’s learning style, pace, and weaknesses. Each lesson is typically 1.5 to 2 hours. I teach O-level, and A-level students in Singapore.
I hold a PhD in Biophysics from the National University of Singapore and have strong academic training in mathematics and physics.
