About Scott
I hold a PhD in New Testament from Liverpool Hope University. I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher, funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. I have taught Biblical languages at seminaries and universities. I am currently under contract to translate several Greek texts into English.

My methods are personalized to the needs of the student. I have previously been employed by a seminary to tutor students studying Biblical languages at the master's level, and all of my students have successfully completed their courses. Typically, my first lesson involves assessing the student's current level of language acquisition and developing a plan for approaching the language that is appropriate to him/her.
I provide lessons for students struggling with Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic.
I also provide lessons for those who want to learn to read the Bible in the original languages. No previous experience learning a language is needed, but it is a plus. I cannot, however, provide credit toward a degree.
