About Jerry
I'm a doctoral student in mechanical engineering at MIT, and have been tutoring throughout college and graduate school. Recently, I worked as a TA and then head TA for the Intro to Robotics class in the mechanical engineering department at MIT. In undergrad, I was a tutor for high school students in the San Diego area.
Research-wise, I've also done curriculum development for an automated teaching system to teach manufacturing line workers how to utilize robotic systems. With that in mind, I really have been teaching and tutoring for individuals of all ages.

I have over 8 years of experience tutoring and mentoring in STEM related classes, including students from middle school and older.
Lessons are typically composed of answering questions you have about a specific topic and then working through part of your homework/study problems together, such that you don't waste time struggling on problems. I have created personalized lesson plans for students to meet their needs and cater to their learning goals.
Students that would most likely benefit from my tutoring service would be in high school or older that are motivated but want some help to better understand material.
