About KRITI
I am Dr. Kriti Arya, a Ph.D. graduate from IIT Patna with a postdoctoral fellowship from IIT Bombay, and currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Chennai. Alongside my research and academic career, I have nurtured a deep passion for teaching and mentoring students across various levels. In my free time, I am eager to contribute as a tutor by helping students strengthen their conceptual understanding, enhance problem-solving abilities, and gain confidence in their learning journey. I believe that my academic background, coupled with my dedication to effective teaching, will enable me to make a meaningful contribution to the mission of delivering quality education.

My teaching approach emphasizes conceptual clarity, interactive discussions, and problem-solving. I use real-life examples and visual aids to make complex topics more relatable. I also adapt my methods to the learner’s pace, incorporating both traditional explanations and digital tools.
A typical class begins with a quick recap of the previous session, followed by a clear explanation of new concepts. I then engage students through worked examples, practice problems, and interactive Q&A. I conclude with a short summary and assignments for reinforcement.
I bring a research-oriented perspective to teaching, ensuring students not only learn “how” but also “why.” My ability to simplify advanced topics, combined with patience and personal mentoring, helps learners build confidence and long-term understanding.
My classes are designed for a wide range of learners, including school children, undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as adults seeking to strengthen their fundamentals or pursue advanced learning.
