I am a PhD graduate with 3 years Lecturing and Tutoring experience at University level (Rice University, USA). My PhD is in Anthropology and I also hold a Masters Degree in Humanities and a Bachelors Degree in Journalism. I am a Native Mandarin speaker and I am also fluent in English.

I have experience with one-to-one tutoring along with Lecturing classes of up to 20 students. I have experience teaching the following subjects

Teaching philosophy -
My approach to tutoring is centered on fostering a deep understanding of the subject matter while tailoring the learning experience to the individual's unique needs and learning style. By breaking down complex concepts into relatable examples and engaging in interactive discussions, I aim to empower students to not only grasp the material but also to think critically and problem-solve independently. Regular assessments and feedback allow for progress tracking and help me adjust my approach as needed.
