About Anusree
I am a PhD graduate in Physics/Astrophysics with post-doctoral research experience from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
In the course of my PhD and post-doc, I enjoyed the challenge of developing methods and pipelines to organize and maintain archival X-ray data from AstroSat-India’s first high-energy astronomy mission, and also to analyse them to derive science-relevant information.
Over a decade of experience in scientific research, mainly in X-ray Astrophysics involved managing, maintaining and analyzing vast amounts of complex astronomical data, as well as programming with Python and Unix Shell-scripts. These efforts have resulted in peer-reviewed publications. During Math and Science lessons, I look forward to share my insights on working as a scientist, and I hope I may also be able to inspire some of my students.
I find myself as a storyteller and have always enjoyed teaching science and math. I look forward to teaching a few students online.

Before my PhD, I used to tutor Science and Maths to students of age 12 to 20, both online and off-line. I prefer one-to-one classes of 1 hour duration for students from all backgrounds. I can teach any syllabus given the student shares his/her prefered study material/textbook. I usually take few days to familiaize with the study material and then have a session with student to level up with the student's understanding of the concepts. It can take a few classes to understand each student's learning style and I will then try and design my classes according to that. I have always been friendly with my students and I make sure I provide a comfortable learning environment.
