About Amritha
I am a recent PhD graduate in psychology/cognitive and affective neuroscience. I have years of experience with math, statistics, and research methodology. I have taken Statistics I, II, and III (univariate and multivariate undergraduate and graduate statistics), and have utilized statistical methods in my research. I've used regressions, t-tests, ANOVAs, MANCOVAs, and machine learning methods for my work. I look forward to working with you, and help you with your questions!

I have previously tutored students who were learning introductory statistics. My primary teaching methods include having you try the problems yourself, and troubleshooting where challenges may exist with understanding the material together. I am warm, compassionate, and supportive - yet, also encourage students to think for themselves, and come up with solutions independently. I have tutored AP statistics/intro statistics courses, and also algebra, trigonometry, and precalculus. A typical lesson plan would begin with me and you going over your homework questions/concerns/pain points with concepts, and us working through it together systematically.
