About Sylvain
• Hello, I have a PhD in cosmology physics, during my thesis, I had the chance to study the Big-Bang theory closely (if ever this intrigues you, we can discuss about it with pleasure!).
• I am also passionate about teaching and the transmission of knowledge. I like to explain, image, and simplify my reasoning in order to make the physical understanding of the world simple and accessible. Physics and mathematics are fabulous tools to achieve this, and it is with pleasure that I will introduce you to their most appreciable and finest qualities.
• I started my career with a degree in civil engineering. I then completed a master degree in particle physics and cosmology, in Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium. I was able to pursue a PhD in cosmology in France, in Paris. At the same time, I was an assistant professor at the University of Paris-Sud.
• More precisely, throughout my career, I was able to study and manipulate various scientific tools such as mathematics, computer programming, statistics, quantum physics, or chemistry and mechanics. Depending on your level, I can assist you in almost all of these areas, from secondary to higher education and university studies.
• The first contact will allow both to assess your needs, and for you to feel if the teaching I am offering is suitable for you.

Each person has their own method of understanding, so there is no one-size-fits-all method of teaching. Nevertheless, from experience, I note that learning follows some major rules:
• Before anything else, it seems obvious to me that it must be done in curiosity, the desire (or even the need) to understand, and the motivation to learn a little more.
• It is then through practice that the subjects are best integrated. I therefore favor the use of examples, images, or even exercises in the form of games and logical problems.
• Finally, you may have already realized that you have never understood a subject as much as you have managed to explain it yourself. It is this perspective that I follow. At this point, our roles are reversed, and it's up to you to explain how you understood the subjects. By helping to push your reasoning to the limit, I will help you lock in your new gains in a form all your own.

Perfect! Je remercie énormément Sylvain pour le soutien qu’il m’a apporté dans mes cours.
J’en demandais parfois beaucoup et il a toujours été très investi pour me venir en aide. Il est plein de ressources et adapte parfaitement son enseignement pour rendre de la matière qui nous paraît difficile, tout à fait abordable.

Sylvain est très patient et particulièrement pédagogue.
De plus, sa formation l'a familiarisé avec de nombreux sujets, aussi bien en mathématique qu'en physique, qu'il est capable de transmettre avec beaucoup de clarté.
Je le recommande, quelque soit le niveau (du collège au master).Sylvain est un prof très patient, et pédagogique. Il prend le temps et s'investi réellement pour ses étudiants.
Je recommande vivement !Sylvain et moi avons effectué notre thèse de Doctorat dans le même laboratoire, et donné des enseignements à l'université de physique ensemble, pendant une année.
Il est d'abord un très bon physicien, passionné par cette discipline d'une manière générale, et toujours avide d'apprendre.
C'est également un excellent enseignant, toujours patient et pédagogue, enthousiaste d'aider ses étudiants à comprendre et s'amuser dans ce qu'ils font.
