About Neth
Hello, I'm Neth! My passion is making science engaging, accessible, and easy to grasp.
I am a PhD-qualified scientist and I have extensive experience teaching at the university level as a teaching assistant at both the University of Waikato and Massey University. I also have years of experience as a private tutor helping secondary and junior school students succeed.
I am here to help you master complex concepts, build your confidence, and excel at your NCEA or Cambridge exams with ease. My goal is to provide support tailored to your individual needs in a highly professional and reliable manner. I can also provide guidance and practical insights on how to achieve academic excellence standards in your exams to secure University Entrance and smoothly transition into university-level study.

I cover both the NCEA and Cambridge syllabuses, specializing in targeted exam preparation and practice papers. I tailor 60-minute lessons around concept breakdowns and past papers for both internals and external exams.
As a PhD-qualified former university TA at Massey University and the University of Waikato, I tutor students from primary up to university level.
I am committed to creating a safe and engaging learning experience that meets the individual needs of every student. We can meet in person at your home, a local library, or online. My goal is to help you build confidence, approach exams with ease, and, most importantly, discover a passion for learning chemistry, biology, and maths.
