1 - I have known Mahdi for over two years since we began our studies at the University of Alberta. As we are both in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, we have shared several courses and collaborated as teammates on multiple course projects, which has helped us build a strong academic and professional relationship. Beyond academia, Mahdi's interesting and positive character, coupled with his excellent communication skills, made it easy for us to become friends. We’ve enjoyed participating in various extracurricular activities together, further strengthening our bond.
2 - Mahdi is a highly intelligent and hardworking individual, which is evident from his impressive background. One of his strong points is his positive character; I particularly admire his calmness and self-confidence when facing challenges. To be honest, I don't see any noticeable weaknesses in Mahdi. While no one is perfect in everything, I haven't observed any shortcomings that would affect his performance or cause issues in the future.
3 - I had the pleasure of collaborating with Mahdi on several course projects, all of which resulted in great results. His approach to problem-solving is unique and highly effective. He begins by examining problems from a physical perspective, ensuring he has a comprehensive understanding before moving on to mathematical formulations. This method allows him to verify his findings against his initial physical insights, leading to a deeper and more accurate understanding of the subject matter. What stands out most to me is Milad's confidence and calm demeanor when tackling complex problems. These qualities, combined with his intelligence and strong work ethic, consistently result in outstanding performance. Working with him has always been a rewarding experience.
4 - I am confident that Mahdi possesses all the necessary qualities to excel in teaching students on a one-on-one basis. His deep knowledge is evident from his academic background, where he consistently achieved good grades in all the courses we shared. Mahdi has always been among the top students throughout his studies. Additionally, Mahdi has experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Alberta. His positive character further enhances his teaching abilities, as it helps create a relaxed and supportive learning environment for students. I believe he would be an excellent tutor, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and effectively.
