About Kiley
Current PhD candidate in Applied Geoscience at Heriot-Watt University. Previous education includes MSc GeoEnergy at Edinburgh and B.S. in Environmental Science, maths, physics, geology, reservoir engineering/ modelling and other introductory engineering courses. Work experience includes working for engineering firm as an environmental/sustainability consultant and paid tutoring on meteorology and sustainability courses at the University of Edinburgh.

My teaching method is using Socratic and creative techniques to engage pupils in discussion and help them understand methods in a useful and enjoyable manner. I like to help guide students rather than just giving answers. This allows them to build critical analysis skills that will benefit them in all subjects. Also, I want to help students understand that learning can be exciting and fun!
