About Ashley
I am a first-generation college student from a family of immigrants, and I understand the many pressures that a student may face on their academic journey. My goal is to help each student hone their strengths and embrace their passions for the sciences. No matter where you come from, there is a home for you in STEM! I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's of Science in both Biochemistry and Neuroscience. I was ranked 14/608 in my class. Before starting graduate school, I worked as a research assistant at Harvard University. Now, I am a PhD candidate in molecular biology and have served as a teaching assistant for several classes of 20+ students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I also participate in a high school mentoring program that aids students with their college applications and exposes them to the many STEM careers available. Whether you are facing a problem with a concept in Biology, Chemistry, or Genetics, I will help you dissect it -- no question is too big or too small! Also happy to help with undergraduate/graduate program applications.
