About Arnold
Completing a PhD at Johns Hopkins provides the rigorous framework I apply to teaching computer programming. Over 13 years, I have helped 462 students navigate the complexities of software development.
I break down APIs and backend basics while emphasizing version control and Git. Teaching object-oriented programming feels natural when you connect the syntax to real-world logic.
You will learn to handle SQL and databases alongside standard JavaScript tasks. Project-based learning is my primary tool for ensuring these concepts stick. It remains satisfying to watch a project finally compile and run correctly after careful debugging.
