About Carlos Juliano
I am an experienced Teaching Assistant, having taught at the University of Essex for the past four years. I have also an Associate Fellow (D1) accreditation from the Higher Education Academy. I am a Brazilian criminal lawyer who moved to the UK to pursue a Master's degree in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at the University of Essex and decided to stay for a PhD.
I am currently in the last year of my PhD in Human Rights at the same University. I am also a legal researcher, working on a joint project between the British Red Cross, the Lauterpacht Centre at the University of Cambridge, and the International Committee of the Red Cross on the study of customary international law.
