About Lucia
I have been an academic professor in several departments. I have enjoyed teaching courses is diverse as Asian Area Studies, Human Sexuality, Foundation courses for entering college freshman, and graduate courses in Medical Anthropology and Ethnomusicology. I raised a family working as a nurse practitioner, and have contributed to research in medicine. I have enjoyed learning all about the human body and health and illness. My very first job was teaching reading to Hispanic kids in the school systemto Hispanic kids in the school system that had no accommodation for a second language. That was back in the dark ages, but I just love teaching young kids to read, especially, or adults for that matter. So get in touch with me. I’m what’s called a “multi-math”. That means a person with lots of interests and expertise in various fields.
