About Richard
I am ACCA qualified person (FCCA); an ACFE qualified fellow and a partly qualified CIMA professional. I hold a 1st Class Hons in B.Com, a Distinction in MBA and I have worked practically (over the past 12yrs) in the Audit and Accounting field. I have hands-on approach to solving real-life accounting, audit and finance related issues. I am a distinguished Auditor with experience from one of the Big 4 (KPMG), an excellent Financial Analyst working with the largest IGO in the world (USAID) and teacher by calling. Currently, I am reading a PhD in Accounting and Finance at Strathclyde given my passion to retire in the classroom/academia. I have taught on part-time basis for over 8yrs. I teach from a practical point of view making my mentees and students appreciate the subject matter. Most of my students have easily sailed through both their academic and professional exams. Trust me, I am responsible, passionate, versatile and up-to-date.

My lessons are geared towards those in academia, professional students and those on access routes. My philosophy is for students to have a hands-on approach to the subject matter at hand. My teaching method is to engage my audience through practical exercises with the aim of sustainability, i.e. the student should become independent after a while and s/he should be willing to impart similar knowledge to others in the society. I am a trainer of trainees.
