About Wasif
Hi, I'm Wasif – a friendly and patient tutor with a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics (11–19) from the University of Greenwich. I love helping students understand Maths in a way that clicks for them, especially when it feels tricky or stressful. During my teaching placements I supported young people aged 11–16, explaining concepts clearly, building their confidence step by step, and making lessons feel relaxed and enjoyable. I focus on GCSE and KS3 topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry and statistics, using simple examples, visuals and practice to make things stick. Whether you're catching up, preparing for exams or just want to feel more comfortable with numbers, I'll adapt to your pace and learning style. I'm reliable, encouraging and genuinely enjoy seeing that 'aha!' moment when it all makes sense. Looking forward to working with you!

I offer supportive one-to-one Maths lessons for KS3 and GCSE students, focusing on making topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry and statistics clear and less intimidating. With my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics (11–19) training and placement experience, I explain concepts simply and patiently, helping build real confidence and problem-solving skills. Lessons are relaxed and tailored to your pace—whether you're catching up, preparing for exams, or just wanting to enjoy Maths more. I use examples, visuals and practice questions to make things stick. Online via Zoom or in-person if local, evenings and weekends available to suit busy schedules. First lesson can be a relaxed chat to see what you need!
