About Swapna
I am Dr. J.K. Swapna, an IIT Madras alumna and certified Yoga Chikitsa Acharya, with 18+ years of experience teaching yoga across diverse groups – from children and beginners to working professionals and seniors. I have also been deputed as a Teacher of Indian Culture, giving me the opportunity to share yoga’s philosophical and practical wisdom at a global level. As a Yoga Therapist and Educator, I specialize in making yoga approachable for beginners, including those with no prior experience. My classes combine asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork), and meditation with guidance on diet and lifestyle, ensuring a holistic approach to health and well-being. Over the years, I have conducted personal therapy sessions for individuals dealing with stress, lifestyle disorders, and health challenges, applying the Pancha Kosa model to bring balance to body, breath, mind, intellect, and inner joy. What sets me apart is my ability to blend tradition with accessibility—whether you are a student looking to improve focus, a professional seeking stress relief, or someone wanting to regain health through yoga, I will guide you with patience, clarity, and empathy.
