I pride myself on being a professional, reliable, and encouraging tutor who truly cares about each child’s growth—not just academically, but personally as well. I create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence at their own pace. My approach is structured yet flexible. I take the time to understand how each child learns best, then tailor lessons to suit their needs and goals. Many students come to tutoring feeling unsure of themselves; I work to replace that uncertainty with belief in their abilities. I have over 10 years of experience teaching elementary level reading (decoding, comprehension, fluency), grammar, word study, and spelling. I have taught upper elementary for 8 years and also have experience with Pennsylvania State Standardized Assessment (PSSA) test prep. I will work with you to develop a plan for instruction based on individual needs.
