About Danubia
Since I was a little girl, at just age 9, I would sneak pages from my father’s office printer and write stories that I would later present to my family. I knew I wanted to become a novelist by age 12, and spent most of my time writing and reading—where I eventually fell in love with Wattpad. I have published poetry—although I prefer novel writing, and even have taken courses on screenwriting and playwriting. I pursued a degree in English, with an emphasis on creative writing, at Arizona State University—but ultimately switched to sustainability, a science-based degree. While I am professionally pursuing a science-based career, my passion still connects with creative writing and I know I want to help young writers out there find their voice! As far as teaching and connecting with kids and young adults, I spent 6 years working for the City of Phoenix as a swim team coach for ages 8-18, a swim lesson instructor for all ages, a water safety instructor for elementary school kids and assisted in after-school care.
