About Hur E
Hey there! I'm a passionate Psychology tutor currently studying my MSc Psychology at Brunel University London. Before this, I completed my undergraduate degree in Law with Psychology at the University of Southampton, and my O Levels, AS and A Levels in Psychology under the Cambridge board. Having studied Psychology at every stage — from O Level to Master's — I know exactly what it feels like to sit in your place, and how to tackle exam boards like CIE, Edexcel, AQA, and OCR with confidence. My lessons are all about making Psychology clear, fun, and memorable, while focusing smartly on exam techniques and past papers so you’re ready for anything the exam throws at you! I've worked for over a year as a SEND Teaching Assistant, helping students of all abilities, including those with autism, ADHD and dyslexia. I'm a very patient tutor, and I love encouraging students to believe in themselves, ask questions, and truly understand the subject. I'm fluent in English and Bengali, and I can also support students who speak Hindi or Urdu. Whether you need help mastering tricky theories, smashing those 16-mark essays, or just building up your confidence, I’m excited to help you succeed! My lessons are designed to make Psychology clear, engaging, and exam-ready. I break down complex topics like Biological Psychology, Social Psychology, Research Methods, and Clinical Psychology into simple, easy-to-remember ideas. Each session is interactive and focuses on both understanding the material and building strong exam technique, including mastering AO1, AO2, and AO3 skills. I also set personalised homework tasks to help everything sink in and keep you progressing between lessons. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and combine content learning with real exam practice, so you leave every class feeling more confident and prepared. I’m currently studying MSc Psychology at Brunel University London, after completing my undergraduate degree in Law with Psychology at the University of Southampton. Alongside my studies, I’ve worked for over a year as a SEND Teaching Assistant, supporting students with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. I tutor A-Level and O-Level Psychology students across Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA and OCR exam boards — perfect for anyone looking to boost their grades, sharpen their exam skills, or just fall in love with Psychology a little more!
