About Tanya

I am a graduate of the University of Tasmania, specializing in tutoring Mathematics and English. I offer lessons both online and in person in Hobart, providing students with the flexibility to learn in the way that suits them best. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, clear steps, while encouraging students to think independently and develop confidence in their abilities. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, whether that means strengthening core skills, preparing for exams, or improving overall performance.

About the lesson

I believe every student learns differently, so my tutoring approach is tailored to individual needs and learning styles. I combine clear explanations with interactive practice, step-by-step problem solving, and real-life examples to make Mathematics and English both engaging and understandable. My focus is on building confidence, strengthening core skills, and developing independent learning strategies that students can carry forward into their studies.
