About Joey
Hello, I'm Joey, a 19-year-old dedicated to helping students excel in GCSE and A-Level Maths. Currently, I am perusing my degree in Mathematics at Lancaster University. My strong academic background includes an A* in Maths A-Level, A in Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science A-Levels, and 6 grade 9s at GCSE, including Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
My experience includes assisting in support sessions at Peter Symonds College, where I honed my skills in explaining complex concepts clearly and effectively. Outside academics, I enjoy playing badminton, which helps me stay active and balanced.
As a tutor, I bring a unique combination of understanding, patience, and passion for Maths. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of their learning journey. My goal is to make Maths enjoyable and accessible, helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Whether through remote video calls or in-person sessions in Lancaster, I'm committed to providing the highest quality of tutoring tailored to each student's needs.
