About Vien
I am a committed and friendly person who is passionate about teaching and helping, especially in mathematics. My goal is to help students who have a little more difficulty and to make math fun and understandable. I guarantee that you will achieve the grade you are aiming for, whether it is a pass or a higher grade.
The relationship between us will be friendly and relaxed, rather than strictly formal. I strongly believe that a good relationship between student and teacher contributes to a better learning experience. Therefore, I will be in constant contact with you to follow up on how things are going in mathematics.
If you need help with individual tasks outside of class time, you are always welcome to contact me - at no extra charge. I am here to support you in the best possible way. There is a small fee for the lessons themselves, but my main focus is to make sure you feel safe and supported in your learning.

I offer private tuition with a focus on active learning, continuous feedback and reflection. My teaching technique means that I give immediate and continuous feedback after each new part. This helps the student to understand and apply the knowledge directly. In group lessons, I encourage students to work with me as a mentor to solve problems and discuss solutions, which promotes collaboration and deeper understanding.
I also use digital tools such as math apps and online resources to make learning more accessible and engaging. The length of the lessons varies between 50 minutes and 1.5 hours, depending on the student's level, age and individual needs. For younger students or beginners, the lessons may be shorter, while longer lessons may suit older students or those who need more time to immerse themselves in the subject.
Although I do not have formal private tutoring experience, I do have experience helping younger students with math and other school subjects. My lessons are open to all students up to and including the first year of high school, (so up to Math 1c, 1B, 1a, 1a1)
