About Zakia
Salam! I’m Zakia, a native Farsi speaker with hands-on experience as a Persian interpreter, so I know how the language is actually used in real conversations, not just in textbooks. I’m also fluent in English, which helps me explain tricky sounds, grammar, and phrases clearly.
I am also fluent in English, so I can explain things clearly if you’re starting from zero. I’m currently a student at Arizona State University, and I love helping people connect with Persian language and culture, whether you want to talk with family, travel, read poetry, or just enjoy a new challenge.
My lessons focus on real, usable Farsi: everyday conversation, pronunciation, the Persian script, and grammar explained in a simple way. I’m patient, encouraging, and happy to move at your pace.
