About Val
Since the mid-1990s, I've specialized in behavioral modification, motivational mindset, healthy living, mind-body connection, healthy relationship coaching, the science of physical longevity, and engaging the Wellness spectrum. I've coached privately, led health/wellness departments, and worked as a Subject Matter Expert in lifestyle change, fitness science & longevity for three decades.
For many years, I've held certifications as a Life Coach, Health Coach, Lifestyle & Weight Management Coach, and Personal Trainer. I hold an online PhD in Natural Health, and I am the former Corporate Health & Wellness Director for Evangelical Homes of Michigan, as well as a presenter and public speaker on positive mindset, time management, health-risk stratification and better living.
What sets me apart from other coaches is my attention to detail, my broad range of skills and experiences in the health & coaching sciences, and my commitment to every client's success.

Most of my clients have been with me for many years, as we've developed very in-depth coaching relationships that involve the nuanced components of their personalities. We move forward through discussion and progressive strategies, and we also identify new obstacles or points of regression.
As your focused mentor, I keep organized reminders in your profile, as well as mindset-related and health-related metrics and a series of strategies and methods on-hand. I have a wide array of tried-and-true mental (& physical) exercises available to lead you through the processes of identifying obstacles, cognitive restructuring & building a happier life.
