About Drew
In my time at Berklee I was able to study with several incredible professors such as Jon Finn, Joe Stump, Tim Miller, and Berta Rojas, all of whom would speak highly of me. I have experience tutoring both beginner and advanced players. I am an experienced performer, playing regular gigs at venues across the country, ranging from bars, to concert halls, to baseball stadiums. I've been on tour and have bountiful experience in recording studios, doing both my own music as well as being a hired studio musician. All of this experience allows me to get my students knowledge not just about playing but also about practical performance scenarios.

Having played guitar for a decade now and graduated from one of the top music colleges in the country, I specialize in teaching advanced technique in both electric and classical guitar, while also being able to take a step back and go build a fundamental base for playing that will pay off in the future for beginners. Lessons also include important concepts such as theory, improvisation, and reading sheet music. My personal philosophy is that the best way to teach is through what gets a student excited about music, so rather than generic exercises, lessons will focus on learning music that the student themselves is passionate about learning.
