About Payton
Developing your HAND INDEPENDENCE is the primary goal I set for those I guide. You might find my methods demanding, yet they are rooted in 13 years of experience across the French tradition. I have worked with everyone from young Suzuki violinists to serious teens.
My approach remains methodical. It is quite precise. My students range from self-taught players needing structure to conservatory candidates. You can expect a clear, systematic path toward your musical objectives.

Since the pacing adjusts to your current grasp of posture and hand position, progress feels natural. I draw upon my Master of Music degree to isolate complex pedalling technique.
We dissect dynamics and expression through rigorous exercises. Attention is always given to your specific accompaniment skills. The 13 years I have spent in this field inform every critique.
