About Ivy
Hi! I am an experienced Spanish tutor with over 15 years of teaching college students, and my approach is designed to make Spanish accessible, meaningful, and fun. I create lessons that are student-centred, interactive, and adaptive, ensuring that each learner receives personalised guidance suited to their learning style.
I incorporate creative and modern methods, such as multimedia tools, digital exercises, conversation practice, role-playing, and real-life scenarios, to make grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation more engaging and easy to retain. I also include cultural insights from Spanish-speaking countries, helping students understand context, traditions, and expressions.
My goal is to help students build fluency, gain confidence, and enjoy the process of learning Spanish, while providing a supportive environment that encourages steady progress and active participation.
