About Rishil
Through my own academic journey, I’ve learnt that success in maths isn’t about memorising formulae, but about understanding the logic behind them. That’s the approach I bring to my tutoring. I aim to make complex ideas simple, approachable, and even enjoyable, so students build confidence alongside their skills.
As a tutor, I’m patient, structured, and supportive. I take time to adapt lessons to each student’s pace, focusing on strengthening foundations, improving problem-solving ability, and developing strong exam technique. My goal is not just to help students achieve better grades, but to help them feel independent and capable when tackling new challenges.
For me, tutoring is more than teaching content — it’s about mentoring, motivating, and helping students realise their potential.

My tutoring sessions are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and goals. As a Maths tutor, I focus on building strong foundations first, then developing clear problem-solving methods and exam technique to help students gain confidence and perform well under timed conditions.
During lessons, we break down difficult topics step-by-step, work through guided examples together, and practise exam-style questions to reinforce understanding. I simplify complex concepts into intuitive explanations and encourage students to ask questions freely so they feel comfortable and engaged.
Sessions include active recall, quick quizzes, and past paper practice to strengthen memory and improve speed and accuracy. I also provide personalised notes, homework tasks, and detailed feedback after each lesson to track progress and target weak areas.
